About Meriah Ward, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BCI’m Meriah Ward (they/them), a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to creating spaces where people can show up as their whole selves without fear of judgment, masking, or misunderstanding. Over the past ten years, I’ve worked across diverse healthcare settings to provide equitable, high-quality care to underserved communities. My clinical philosophy is straightforward: everyone deserves to be met where they are, treated with respect, and supported in ways that reflect their true identity. As both a provider and a neurodivergent person, I understand the exhaustion that comes with navigating systems designed for neurotypical minds. My work centers on neurodivergent-affirming, trauma-informed, and gender-affirming care, offering support that honors the unique ways each person experiences the world.
